Seidu Sakara Foster

Mr Seidu Foster is our company’s Managing Director. With over 10 years experience in the upstream oil and gas sector between Aberdeen (North sea), Houston and Ghana. He brings a wealth of experience and an extensive network to the business. He has achieved industry recognition as an ICS certified Shipbroker in both the north sea and West African offshore markets, chartering Offshore support vessels for a number of A-lits IOC’s in the sub-region to provide logistics support in the appraisal of oil plays and also the ongoing production of crude oil and natural gas in the sub-region.

He has had great success in the introduction of a number of high profile international oil & gas service companies into the Ghanaian market, and he also played a critical role in the delivery of complex engineering equipment to support the development of the nascent LNG production industry off Takoradi in Ghana, more specifically the ENI OCTP Sankofa Gas project. Through the establishment of formidable joint ventures with international partners, he has and continues to deliver services in the segments of chartering, oil field engineering services, and the delivery of offshore data communications via satellite to 70% of the oil and gas installations offshore Ghana, primarily with Tullow Oil Ghana.

He comes from a Management consulting background having worked with one of London’s leading strategic consultancy firms in Mayfair ‘AT Kearney’, after achieving an MSc in Management, Information Systems and Innovation (MISI) from the London School of Economics.

His upstream experience comes along with a unique understanding of the local regulatory frameworks and compliance principles, having mediated for years between key the institutional stakeholders such as the Petroleum Commission, Ministry of Energy and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC) and international stakeholders. He posses vast knowledge of both the commercial and technical aspects of the business in Ghana and West Africa. Givenhis experience in the Maritime and offshore logistics space, he remains keen in the development of health &safety policy (HSE) and bringing international industry standard accreditation and certifications to our business.
